Quality to last a lifetime; these are made from woven silk threads, machine manufactured with the finest detail, using up to 8 different, bright and sparkling colours. Dye fast and can be made washable if specified. These crests are made in quantity by Loom Machines and except for making the pattern and setting up the run, the process is largely automatic. The machine is large, complicated and very expensive. The larger the number of crests involved, the lower the cost. In quantity, the price is competitive with the silk- screened, process crests.
